Spring Texas was a Do-It-Yourself type community.  Of course, Texan's have always been know as Ruff-N-Tumble so, John and D. Epperson learned to be independent and hardy, just like the generations before them.

John was a Houston Fire Fighter/EMT and dealt with a lot of medical emergencies.  He saw the bad side of life and consequences of that life first hand and shared his experiences with his wife, D..

D. had been a protege of her Grandmother, Lemao, the Protege of Opapo, a very well known Medicine Man on the Island of Samoa.  D. started her education in private European type schools and continued her education in her Native US Universities and Colleges.  She had learned from her people that not only diet, but certain types of food in that diet, could influence the way the body heals itself. 

It wasn't until March 3rd, 2003, that HomeBlend Gourmet, LLC acquired the exclusive license to market SugarBlend Sweetener, one of 249 formulations created by D.S. Epperson.

HomeBlend Gourmet, LLC was born in Rigby Idaho.
